  • Easel.ly is a tool for creating stunning infographics either from scratch or using some fantastic templates.  Create and share visual ideas.

 

  • Camstudio is a free desktop application that allows you to record your computer screen.  Create video tutorials for your class.  Record classroom instruction for your substitute.

 

  • Quick Key Mobile allows you to grade quizzes, tests and surveys with your Apple iPhone.

 

  • Educreations - A unique interactive whiteboard and screencasting tool that's simple, powerful, and fun to use. Annotate, animate, and narrate nearly any type of content as you explain any concept.

  • InfuseLearning is free app that can be used on any device or platform. It allows teachers to send questions, prompts and quizzes to students’ devices in private virtual classrooms.

 

  • Socrative lets teachers use real-time questioning, result aggregation and visualisation to gauge the level of understanding in the class.

 

  • Class Dojo creates beautiful alternatives for behaviour management.

 

  • PhotoMath uses your camera to solve math problems.

 

  • SAS Curriculum Pathways is a rich collection of free standards-based interactive resources in ELA, Math, Science, Social Studies and Spanish.

 

  • Technology Flashcard from the Museum of Science in Boston is an engaging learning tool for elementary school students who are beginning to learn about engineering and technology.

 

  • Autodesk 123D is a collection of free apps that take students from photos to modeling to making in 3-D.

 

  • Virtual Labs is an online tutorial in basic laboratory techniques for high school andcollege students.

 

  • Code.org's free K-8 Intro to Computer Science couse is a 20 hour series of tutorials and actividites designed for any educator to host in a classroom to introduce core computer science and programming techniques.

 

  • Georgia Virtual Learning - Students can access free, interactive digital textbooks through the Georgia Department of Education’s website.

 

  • Padlet allows for teachers to have a bulletin board of links at their disposal. Posting is as simple as a double click. Files can be uploaded or linked to.

 

  • Front Row allows for teachers to allow students to practice math according to CC standards. It is available online or as an app.
