I am Coach Bartt Gilreath and this is my third year at SES. I am excited and honored to be teaching Physical Education at this wonderful new school. Before I came to SES, I taught Physical Education and Weight Training at Ashworth Middle School. On top of my teaching duties, I coached football each year while at AMS. I was the head coach for the last 6 years and won the first region football championship in AMS history in 2008. I coached baseball in the 2004, 2005, 2009, and 2010 seasons, I was the head coach from 2009-2010.

 I returned to coaching football this season as the Head Coach for the Sonoraville Middle School 6th Grade team.

I have been happily married for a 3 years to Beka Robbins Gilreath, who teaches 7th grade Language Arts at AMS. We have one child, Ella Beth, who turned 2 years old on August 12. I grew up in Fayette County, Alabama and attended the University of Alabama before graduating from Shorter College. I am an avid Alabama fan. ROLL TIDE!!!! I also enjoy spending time with my family, travelling, golf, playing softball, video games, hunting, and fishing.
