Membership Drive

All members who wish to join need to pay $5.00 for the entire year. Members who join before Sept. 15 will have their name in a drawing at the PTA meeting for a gift card.

1.  Original Works will be at the PTA meeting.

2.  Fall greenhouse flowers are blooming. We have asters, campanula, lupines, and phlox. Will begin to sell soon.

3.  New and improved Spirit Wear is on it’s way. We have awesome shirts, car magnets, tattoos, and more to come.

4.  We will have a NEW fundraiser this year called Mixed Bags. This will take the place of the wrapping paper/candy sale for Christmas. All items will be in before Christmas.

5.  REMEMBER TO BE COLLECTING BOX TOPS, COKE POINTS, CAMPBELL SOUP LABELS AND CAPRI SUN POUCHES.

6.  Ingles cards, Kroger cards, Office Depot, etc. also gives a percentage to the schools if your card is registered for FES.


**Please note the following regarding signatures or other writing on the artwork- as we have had some situations last year where the writing was cut off of the merchandise - particularly on our ceramic tiles, mouse pads, and magnets because it was too close to the edge of the paper.*　 Most families love to see their child's signature on the artwork with the year.　I don't know what your feelings are, but if you include them, please have the students sign their work at least a half inch from any edge.

Borders really set off the artwork, especially when reprinted on tee shirts or mugs.  Paints, watercolors, crayons, markers, and collages always look great!  Gritty surfaces resulting from salt washes will probably be rejected.  Please refrain from using glitter paint, glitter , pearlized or metallic paint as we cannot accept them.  Crayola Tropical color markers　didn't turn out true.  Please make sure you are either using OWY provided paper or paper cut to 8 1/2 x 11 this year.  (The home office is very strict about this, non-conforming art is returned, and we'd hate for an order not to be processed in time for the holidays.)
