My name is Joy Dodd and I am the Music Specialist and Chorus Director at Sonoraville Elementary School. I have an Associate of Arts Degree from Reinhardt College, a Bachelor of Music Degree from West Georgia College and a Masters of Education Degree from Kennesaw State University. I have won piano performance awards and have been the piano accompanist for music performances locally as well as in Austria, Germany and Ireland. Under my direction, choruses have been awarded rankings of both "Superior" and "Excellent" from large group performance evaluations sponsored by the Georgia Music Educators Association. Previously, I taught music at Belwood Elementary School and Fairmount Schools.

On a personal note, my husband and I, our two daughters, sons-in-law and grandsons live in Gordon County. I am very proud of my family!
