Sonoraville Elementary School hosted a Careers on Wheels career day event on Monday, May 9th on their campus.  Local agencies were invited to come and demonstrate to 4th and 5th grade students how they incorporate their vehicles into their chosen profession.  We were very fortunate to have the Gordon County Fire Dept., Sheriff's Dept., EMS, and Emergency Management crews attend this event as our guest speakers.  Students were able to tour and manipulate several of the vehicles, ranging from the Sheriff's armored vehicle "The Peacemaker, to the mobile command center of Emergency Management.  Thanks to all those agencies who volunteered their time to make this event a success.
