Swain Storybook Character Pumpkins |
Swain students were invited to participate in a storybook character pumpkin contest as a parent involvement activity for the media center. First, second, and third place prize winners were chosen by student, teacher, and staff votes. The first prize winner was Eli Todd for his Skippy Jon Jones Pumpkin, second place went to Andrew Williams for his Goosebumps "Night of the Living Mummy" pumpkin, and third place went to Jada Jaco for her Garfield pumpkin. There were 49 entries in the contest, and all the pumpkins were very creative! Mrs. Chastain would like to thank everyone who participated! |
