Mrs. Christy's class participated in a Community Based Instruction Trip to Simply Southern. We want to thank our Circle of Friends for participating with us and Deputy Shelley for making sure we got there safely!

Ashworth Middle School students love their cafeteria and janitorial staff! Last week, the AMS Student Council honored the staff with a cake to show each one how much they are appreciated for all of their hard work, dedication, and the kindness they show every student and faculty member each day. The SHS Phoenix Football Red and Black scrimmage teams met for battle in front of full stands. The SHS Student Government sponsored the event with all donations for the SHS Memory Walk. The band, cheerleaders, chorus, and others participated for a fun-filled event. Thanks to all who made this possible. The FES Drama focus group worked very hard on their play "Greatest Americans of the 20th Century", beginning in January. This week they were ready to show it off for everyone! Every student in the school was able to come and enjoy the play and parents attended as well. Kudos to director John Rampy, who is also our computer teacher and the students who participated.
