Parents whose children have their iPads at home with internet access, please tell them to download the Microsoft Teams app. It’s available in their ZuluDesk. As we continue to gather feedback from our community, we have made some adjustments to our schedule for the next few days in regard to picking up items from each of our schools. We realize that some schools have already communicated their original plans; however, all schools will now follow the district schedule to accommodate families who need to obtain items from our schools.
Families may pick up medications, digital devices, or other personal items according to the following schedule. Should students in grades 3-12 need to check out a device for use in digital learning, they may do so during the posted times as well. Please note that learning packets will not be available until after 12:30 p.m. on Monday but can be picked up at any time after that. If you have any questions, please contact your school before going.
Monday, March 16: 7:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.
Tuesday, March 17 and Wednesday, March 18: 7 a.m.-9 a.m.; 11 a.m.-1 p.m.; and 5 p.m. – 7 p.m.
PLEASE NOTE: If no one is available to pick up items for students during the posted times, please call the school to make other arrangements.
For families who are planning to turn in packets for PreK registration for the 20-21 school year, the deadline will be extended to accommodate our school closings. As soon as a new deadline has been established, we will post the information to our website and social media.
Additionally, we will have posted at each of our schools the schedule and locations for meal distribution for students. This information is also available on our website at gcbe.org and on social media and has been sent out via email to our families and posted on the Gordon County Schools' APP.
Thank you for your continued patience and cooperation.
