Gordon County Schools
Stakeholder Input Opportunity
Gordon County Schools invites the community along with parents, teachers, staff members, and principals to provide input on the revisions of the required FY20 Consolidated LEA Improvement Plan (CLIP). Components of the CLIP include the Comprehensive Needs Assessment, District Improvement Plan, the District Parent and Family Engagement Policy, and the Foster Care Transportation Plan. These documents are revised each school year to form the basis for the district’s various federal program grants.
Stakeholders may submit feedback online at http://goo.gl/forms/2FoLurXIQ82KHJyF3. Copies of the FY19 documents are available online at www.gcbe.org under the School Improvement tab or at the Gordon County Board of Education Office, 205 Warrior Path, Calhoun, Georgia.

Gordon County Schools has an approved Consolidated LEA Improvement Plan (CLIP) for FY19. The Georgia Department of Education requires the CLIP to fulfill the need for a plan from each local educational agency (LEA) to define how the LEA will support their students when accepting federal funds under The Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965, as amended by the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) of 2015. The componets of the CLIP are revised with input of stakeholders each school year to form the basis for the district’s various federal program grants.
