Hello! My name is Heaven Harris and I am the 7th & 8th Grade Gifted/Advanced Language Arts teacher here at AMS.  This is my 3rd year teaching at Ashworth Middle School. I am a proud AMS & GCHS alumna, and it has been such an awesome experince getting to teach at the very same middle school I attended from 2005-2008.

I graduated from Georgia Southern University in 2016 with a bachelor’s degree in Middle Grades Education. I recieved my certifications in Middle Grades Reading, Language Arts, and Social Studies in 2016 as well. I recieved my Gifted Endorsement from RESA in 2017. 

I have been married for 1 year to my husband Austin, and we have one very loved puppy who completes our family.

 I am looking forward to a great year!!!
