My name is David Weaver.  I am a native of Gordon County and graduate of Red Bud High School.  For 11 of my 17 years with Gordon County Schools, I have served as School Counselor at Sonoraville Middle and now Red Bud Middle School. I am a graduate of Southern Tech, now Kennesaw State University, where I earned my Bachelor of Science degree and the University of West Alabama where I earned my MEd in School Counseling. I also taught special education for 4 years and math for 2 years before working as a School Counselor. I enjoy helping students in making important life choices ranging from appropriate interaction with others to planning for a future career after high school.  Don't hesitate to let me know if I can ever be of help!
