Degrees and Certifications:
Mrs. Amy Beason
My name is Amy Beason, and I am the principal of Sonoraville Elementary. I have had the privilege of working at Sonoraville Elementary since it opened in 2008. During that time, I served as the literacy specialist and assistant principal. I am extremely excited about beginning my third year as principal at Sonoraville Elementary this school year.
I have been an educator in Gordon County Schools for the last 20 years. I grew up in the Gordon County School system and graduated from Gordon Central High School. I have a Bachelor of Science degree from Kennesaw State University in Early Childhood Education. My Master’s degree is in Early Childhood Education from Piedmont College, and I obtained my Specialist degree from Nova Southeastern Education in Teacher Leadership with an Educational Leadership add-on from Valdosta State University.
Sonoraville Elementary has a wonderful staff of dedicated and caring individuals. We are blessed to work with amazing Sonoraville students and their families. Our school is in a supportive community with long-honored traditions and values, and my family is proud to be members of the Sonoraville community. My husband and I have three children currently in Gordon County Schools.
One of my favorite hobbies is reading. I hope to inspire this same passion of reading to the students at SES! I also enjoy spending time with my family, working in my yard, and doing arts and crafts.
Feel free to contact me anytime if you have any questions or concerns. You may reach me at 706.879.5302 or email@example.com.
I know this next school year is going to be amazing here in the Phoenix Nation!
