Welcome to 1st Grade!  I am looking forward to a great year full of lots of learning and making memories.

This is my 4th year of teaching, and I am highly qualified to teach your child.  I graduated from Kennesaw State University in 2004 with a Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Social Science Education.  I returned to Kennesaw State and graduated again in 2008 with a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education.  I taught previously in Gordon County for 3 years before being a stay-at-home mother for the past 10 years.  

I have been married to Dr. Johnnie Coats for 13 years and he is also an educator in Gordon County.  We have 3 wonderful children, Braxton, Braeden, and Madilyn.
