Degrees and Certifications:
Mrs. Jamie Mullinax
Hello! My name is Jamie Mullinax and I am looking forward to another exciting school year here at Sonoraville Elementary. This is my ninth year as a teacher in Gordon County and my seventh year at SES as an ESS Inclusion teacher. My role as an ESS teacher has allowed me to work with multiple grade levels (K-5) over the years. This year, I am very excited to, once again, be serving as the ESS Inclusion teacher for Kindergarten, first, and second grade.
I am a lifelong resident of Gordon County and a proud graduate of Red Bud High School. I graduated from Dalton State College with a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education. I later acquired my Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Piedmont College. I am ESOL and ESS certified and have my reading endorsment as well. I am qualified to teach special education for grades K-12.
I have been married to my husband Tony for 28 years and we have two daughters, Allison and Anna. I love traveling and spending time at the beach. I also enjoy gardening and baking.
I am thrilled to have the opportunity to be a key player in your child's education this year. My goal is to help your child succeed and have a postive learning experience, while guiding him or her to becoming the best all-around student and person they can be. The Phoenix Nation begins at SES, where we truly believe there is "Strength in Every Student"!
