Welcome to Tolbert Elementary School!  My name is Joey Marycz.

This year I will be serving students in K,1,3,4,5. I have taught at Tolbert since 2014, prior to Tolbert I worked at Gordon Central High School. I have earned the following awards: 2017-18 GCS2nd Mile Awards- voted on by my peers and district administrators across the Gordon County School System.
I am a native of Gordon County… I enjoy giving back to my community by supporting many different United Way agencies. Also, by serving on different leadership boards. I’m currently serving as Board President for Camp New Adventure, a special needs summer camp in Gordon County, Co-president of Tolbert’s PTO, Chair for Tolbert’s Public Relations committee and Public Relations Chair for Special Olympics of Gordon County.
I am a huge supporter of the WARRIOR NATION!!!  I enjoy cheering-on/supporting all the WARRIORS especially my brother, Christian Marycz who is a senior and a 4 year GC basketball player.
