WELCOME TO MRS. MILLER’S
My name is Cindy Miller, and I am so excited to have your child in my class this year. I want to introduce myself and give you some information about me.
I am married to Mike Miller, and we have one daughter named Marisa Haney. She is married to PJ Haney and has a daughter of her own who is 2 years old and expecting another girl in January 2021.
I graduated college in 2004 with my associates degree in Applied Science, and in 2006 with my bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education with an endorsement in ESOL. After teaching a few years, I went back to college and received my Master’s degree in Education Curriculum in 2009. In 2012, I received my Specialist degree in Educational Leading and Learning. In addition to my Specialist degree, I have completed the Reading endorsement, successfully taken the GACE in middle school reading and ELA. After taking the Exceptional Student Services GACE, I am qualified to teach Special Education in grades K-12.
I have taught in several capacities including ESS, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, and Literacy Coach for 2 years. I have completed 14 years in the Gordon County School System and look forward to many more.
My passion for teaching and heart for children give me the desire to make a positive impact in students’ academic and personal lives. I have high expectations for the students and look forward to working with them to achieve the highest possible academic goals. I want all parents to feel informed and included in their child’s education, so please don’t hesitate to call, email, or Dojo message me any time.
