Hi, my name is Patti Black.  Welcome to my PreK page!  I have been teaching for 15 years.  I have taught 12 years of kindergarten and this is my 4th year teaching PreK. I received my Bachelors of Science degree in Early Childhood Education from Southeastern Louisiana University.  I attend training annually to remain highly trained and qualified to teach.  

I live in Cartersville.  I am originaly from New Orleans, Louisiana but have lived in Georgia almost as long as I lived in Louisiana.  I have a beagle and a tabby cat.  I am one of the middle of four sisters.  I have two sons.  One son is a graduate of Dalton State and the other son is a Georgia Tech graduate. I enjoy reading novels, crocheting, calligraphy, watching the New Orleans Saints play football and spending time with my family and friends. 

I am looking forward to getting to know your child and to start an amazing year filled with lots of fun, exploring and learning (and lots of giggles)!
