Miss Victoria Chattin

Hello! I'm super excited to be at Fairmount again this year and am looking forward to a great year in second grade.

I grew up in Woodstock and graduated from Sequoyah High School. I attended Kennesaw State University where I earned my undergraduate degree in Elementary and Early Childhood Education. In 2012, I moved to San Antonio, Texas, where I taught for four years before deciding to move back home to Georgia. I finished my graduate degree in 2016 with a Masters of Science in Education: Curriculum and Instruction. In 2017, I spent four months (March-July) hiking the Appalachian Trail from Springer Mountain in Dawsonville, Georgia just over 1,000 miles to Harpers Ferry, West Virginia. After my grand adventures on the trail, I decided to come back to teaching and got a job here at FES. This will be my sixth year teaching, and my third year in second grade.

I am engaged and have an adorable German Shephard/Dalmation puppy named Indy (after Indiana Jones). When I am not in the classroom, I love traveling, hiking, camping, and spending time with my family. I also love crafting and spend lots of my free time making T-shirts, signs, and anything else I can think of with my Cricut machine.
