Mrs. Tracey Clark
My name is Tracey Clark, and I'm the Instructional Lead Teacher here at Fairmount Elementary. I have been teaching for eleven years and this will be my eighth year at FES. This school is such a great school to be a part of, and I'm so excited that I get to work with all the wonderful students and staff here.
I grew up in Marietta, Georgia and moved to the Talking Rock area about 17 years ago. My husband and I have two daughters named Kylee and Karlee which attend FES and Redbud Middle and our son Kooper that joined us in January of 2020. We love the Fairmount community and have enjoyed being in this small town with a big heart. When we are not in school or have any spare time, our family enjoys camping, fishing, hiking, and lots of other outdoor activities. Our favorite time together is when we can sit on the beach together and create great memories.
I graduated from Dalton State College in 2009 with an Early Childhood Education degree and an ESOL Endorsement. After teaching two years, I returned to school and earned a Masters and Specialist Degree from Piedmont College. I have also received my Math and Reading Endorsements since beginning my educational career. I have taught PreK and 5th Grade in Gordon County and have been at FES for the past seven years. Since being at FES, I have taught 5th grade for 3 years, was the Literacy Specialist for four years and I am starting my first year as the Instructional Lead Teacher. I truly enjoy working with all the great students we have and love our School with a BIG Heart!!
