Mrs. Tracey Clark

My name is Tracey Clark, and I'm the Literacy Specialist here at Fairmount Elementary. I have been teaching for nine years and this will be my sixth year at FES. This school is such a great school to be a part of, and I'm so excited that I get to work with all the wonderful students and staff here.

I grew up in Marietta, Georgia and moved to the Talking Rock area about 15 years ago. My husband and I have two daughters named Kylee and Karlee which attend FES and Redbud Middle. We love the Fairmount community and have enjoyed being in this small town with a big heart. When we are not in school or have any spare time, our family enjoys camping, fishing, hiking, and lots of other outdoor activities. Our favorite time together is when we can sit on the beach together and create great memories.

I graduated from Dalton State College in 2009 with an Early Childhood Education degree and an ESOL Endorsement. After teaching a copule of years, I returned to school and earned a Masters and Specialist Degree from Peidmont College. I have also recieved my Math and Reading Endorsements since beginning my educational career. I have taught PreK and 5th Grade in Gordon County and have been at FES for the past five years. Since being at FES, I have tuaght 5th grade for 3 years, and I am starting my third year as the Literacy Specialist. I truly enjoy working with all the great students we have and love our School with a BIG Heart!!
