Ms. Deanna Chastain, Registrar and Student Information specialist, has been employed with Gordon County Schools for 21 years. Prior to her current role, she served as a paraprofessional for exceptional student services programs at Gordon Central Hgh School, and connected students & families to community resources while serving as a Family Advocate at Tolbert Elementary. She is a graduate of Lakeview Fort Oglethorpe High School in Fort Oglethorpe, GA.

Deanna is married to Anthony Chastain and they have two sons - Matt, a graduate of Mercer University and currently employed by UPS & Clay a graduate of the University of Georgia, who works at UGA as a publicity coordinator and a wonderful daughter-in-law Marissa a graduate of UGA. In her spare time, Ms. Chastain enjoys bowling, NASCAR, watching "old school" professional wrestling & football.
