Mrs. Ronda Tatum

     Mrs. Tatum earned her Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Georgia Southern University. Before beginning her teaching career she had several jobs in the accounting field, including owning a small accounting firm. After teaching math at a hybrid private school Mrs. Tatum decided to make a career change and become a full time educator. She earned her Master of Arts in Teaching from the University of North Georgia and spent the next six years teaching math at Gordon Central High School. Mrs. Tatum currently serves as the Instructional Lead Teacher at GC. This position gives her the opportunity to work with teachers and students in all subject areas and grade levels.  

     Mrs. Tatum lives in Adairsville, GA, with her husband Brent Tatum and their youngest daughter Caroline, a junior at Gordon Central. Their oldest daughter, Margaret, serves in the United States Army. Their daughter Katherine and her husband Blaine are both teachers and coaches in Bartow County. Their oldest son, JT, is a Cadet at the University of North Georgia. Their son Avery is a graduate of Gordon Central (2020) and plans to be a firefighter. In her free time Mrs. Tatum enjoys reading, hiking, and trips to the beach.
