Mrs. Ronda Tatum

     Mrs. Tatum earned her Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Georgia Southern University. Before beginning her teaching career she had several jobs in the accounting field. After several years teaching part-time at a private school Mrs. Tatum decided to make a career change and become a full time educator. She earned her Master of Arts in Teaching from the University of North Georgia and spent the next six years teaching math at Gordon Central High School. Mrs. Tatum currently serves as the Instructional Lead Teacher at GC. This position allows her the opportunity to work with teachers and students in all subject areas and grade levels.  

     Mrs. Tatum lives in Adairsville, GA, with her husband Brent Tatum and their youngest daughter Caroline, a senior at Gordon Central. Their oldest daughter, Margaret, serves in the United States Army and is currently stationed in Hawaii. Their daughter Katherine and her husband Blaine are both teachers and coaches in Bartow County. Their oldest son, JT, is a Cadet at the University of North Georgia. Their son Avery, a graduate of Gordon Central (2020), is currently training to be a firefighter. In her free time Mrs. Tatum enjoys reading, hiking, and trips to the beach.
