Mrs. Victoria Jenkins

Hello fabulous first graders (and parents)! My name is Mrs. Jenkins, and I am SO excited to be back at Fairmount this year! More importantly, I am THRILLED to be your 1st grade teacher! It’s going to be a fun year full of lots of learning and new adventures and I can’t wait to see what the year has in store for us. I want to know ALL about you, but first I’m going to tell you a few things about me.

I am married to my high school sweetheart and have a baby girl named Amelia, who was born on August 6th. I grew up in Woodstock, Georgia and I am the youngest of FIVE! I have 3 brothers and 1 sister, as well as 12 nieces and nephews. I LOVE my family and the mountains! In 2017, I spent 15 weeks hiking 1,000 miles of the Appalachian Trail from Georgia to West Virginia. I am passionate about the outdoors and would love to share some of my adventures with you!

I graduated from Kennesaw State University in 2011 with a degree in Elementary and Early Childhood Education, and I earned my Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Phoenix in 2016. I absolutely love what I do and can’t wait to pass my passion for learning on to you!

This is my eighth year teaching, but my first year teaching first grade. I have also taught fourth, second and fifth grade and am looking forward to a new adventure in a new grade.

I hope you’re as excited about our year together as I am! :)
