Welcome to my page! My name is Shawna Cox, and this is my 12th year in education with Gordon County Schools. I obtained my first teaching position at Ashworth Middle School as an 8th grade math teacher in 2008. Then I moved up to Gordon Central High School where I taught Algebra I and Geometry for 5 years.
This year I am so excited to serve in my new role as the Academic Coach for Sonoraville High School. I have the privilege and honor of working with math and science teachers to support them with their curriculum, instruction, and assessment needs. It is truly an honor to be a part of the Phoenix Family. Go Phoenix!
