My name is Russell Redd, and this is my first year teaching at Red Bud Middle School.  I am the new Careers teacher.  I am a graduate of Dalton State College and have a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management.  I am currently attending Shorter University, and I hope to receive my MAT of Pedagogy later this year.  I previously worked for a large company and have years of experience working with human resources and training individuals on job requirements. 

I have lived in Gordon County most of my life.  I went to Sonoraville Elementary School, Sonoraville Middle School, and graduated from Gordon Central High School in 1998.  I am married to Heather Redd, and we have a daughter named Katelyn Redd.  Katelyn is in the 6th grade at Red Bud Middle School.

In my spare time, I like to run and play different sports. I enjoy running in local events.  I am currently involved in helping coach football here at Red Bud Middle.  My family and I enjoy going to church, and we like to travel.  We also love to be around family and friends.  My wife and I also enjoy supporting our daughter in her activities.

I am very excited about this school year, and I hope to make a positive difference in the lives of every student that I teach.
