    Family-School Partnership Award:

    Excellence in Communications

Thank you for the nominations to help us recognize our teachers that go the 2nd Mile to communicate with parents and families to enhance student learning!  Over 160 nominations were submitted for teachers that exceed the standard in parent-teacher communication through regular, two-way, and meaningful communication involving student academic learning. Through your nomination these teachers received recognition and the outstanding communication strategies will be shared with other teachers across the district.

Thank you for helping us celebrate our teachers that are keeping families up-to-date on their student’s progress and providing regular tips connecting to the classroom standards!

    (C) That parents are full partners in their child’s education and are included, as appropriate, in decision-making and on advisory committees to assist in the education of their child.

    (D) The carrying out of other activities, such as those described in Section 1116 of the ESSA.
