Club Tome

Welcome to Club Tome!

Club Tome is the elementary level chapter of Tome Student Literacy Society. This new organziation offers an exciting alternative to Reading Bowl in which students read an encouraging selection of six books, and complete projects and discussions about them, and even do service projects!

Students who complete the required reading and projects will have the opportunity to attend TomeCon, short for Tome Conference, in March. At TomeCon there will be workshops and even some of the actual authors may be present to talk about their writing process. Students who do not complete reading and projects will not attend the conference.

We want all Club Tome members to have a special t-shirt and to be able to attend TomeCon. The cost of t-shirt, conference registration, and lunch at the conference are forthcoming.

Our first meeting is coming up soon. Students must have a completed car rider form and number, and paperwork signed for afterschool before any student will be allowed to stay after school.
