SHS Announcements:
The local chapter of the Kiwanis Club has asked for our assistance with their Children’s Book Drive. Please consider donating a new, or gently used, children’s book appropriate for toddlers to age 5. Books can be taken to your 1st block teacher.
Seniors: Prom tickets are still on sale. See Mrs. Farmer if interested in purchasing a ticket.
Also, Seniors planning to bring a non-SHS student to prom should get an approval form from Mr. Psaila. The non-SHS date forms must be completed and returned at least 3 days before prom.
Any Senior 17 ½ years old or older can register to vote here at SHS this Wednesday from 9:00-12:00 in the media center. This will only take about 10 minutes. Please bring your driver’s license.
Over the break, FFA had members announced as state finalists in Agriscience as follows: Ember Hannigan, Taylor Short, Emma Bennett, Madison Stewart, Harley Dutton, & Ross White. These students submitted their written report and will continue to compete as a top 4 finalist in the state at the FFA state convention next week. We would also like to congratulate Luke Fox for being selected as talent for the state convention. This will be Luke’s 3rd time performing at state convention which is a great achievement.
