Degrees and Certifications:

Ms. Lori Lynn Key

This is my 22nd year teaching for Gordon County Schools. In 1999, I fulfilled my dream of becoming a teacher. For fifteen years, I taught kindergarten, 1st, and 3rd grade students at Red Bud Elementary. Then in 2014, I moved to Sonoraville High School to teach Early Childhood Education in the Career, Technical, and Agricultural Education (CTAE) Department.

I received my B.A. degree from the University of West Florida in Pensacola, FL. After teaching for eight years, I reversed the roles and went back to school as a student. In 2008, I graduated from Kennesaw State University with my M.Ed. The following summer, I completed my Ed.S. from Piedmont College.

I am very excited to be working with such a wonderful group of students at SHS! My goal for our ECE Program is to educate and train students to be postitive role models and effective teachers. Through the colloboration of the Phoenix Nation (our parents, students, teachers, and community), we can “Set Higher Standards” for GA's Future Educators. If you have any questions or concerns throughout the year, please feel free to call or e-mail me.
