CALHOUN, GA – The Gordon County Schools Board of Education voted to approve proposed academic calendars, allowing for the adoption of academic calendars for the next three academic years. 

The Gordon County Schools Board of Education met on Monday, December 13th, to discuss the three proposed academic calendars for the 2022-23, 2023-24, and 2024-25 academic years. All three approved calendars, largely similar to the current academic calendar, have 176 student days, 6 teacher professional learning days, and 15 flex days available for teachers to work at their discretion, with a requirement of a minimum of at least 4 flex days being used per calendar year.
