Sonoraville Elementary School is proud to announce that Kraig Weikum has been selected as our 2022-2023 Teacher of the Year.
Mr. Weikum teaches fifth grade reading and ELA. Mr. Weikum was described by a colleague as a teacher who practices dedication and patience every day at school. He consistently shows respect and kindness to all students and helps staff members problem solve with any chance he may get. Mr. Weikum has been teaching at Sonoraville Elementary for six years. Mr. Weikum served in the United States Air Force for 20 years where he worked on F4 and A10 Fighter Planes. Mr. Weikum and his wife have a son and daughter-in-law, a daughter, and 3 grandsons.
