On Thursday, December 4th, students from Tolbert Elementary School proudly competed in the annual TES Spelling Bee.

Fourth Grade Competitors:

Daphne Lara, Westin Wheat, Jordyn Chapman, Lily Wiley, Elias Monroy, William Prieto, Kannon Iler, Andres Montelongo, Aaron Helmly, and Parker Marion

Fifth Grade Competitors:

Jeremy Guate, Kyzer Breneman, Brittlynn Ray, Zane Nichols, Jaxson Wells, Dylan Escalera, Elias Sontoy Chavez, Amerie Tipton, Bella Key, and Charleigh Cargal

After seven exciting and competitive rounds, fifth-grader Brittlynn Ray was named the 2025 Tolbert Elementary School Spelling Bee Champion! Fourth-grader Daphne Lara earned the title of Runner-Up.

Brittlynn will now advance to represent Tolbert Elementary at the Gordon County Schools Spelling Bee in January.
