Tolbert Elementary was honored as a Georgia Literacy Leader for demonstrating exceptional growth in 3rd Grade Gateway Reading, with a notable increase in students reading at or above grade level. Those present for recognition included Principal Dr. Rebecca Owen, Assistant Principal Melissa Vincent, and some of the dedicated third-grade team and support staff: GCS Teacher of the Year Emily Rossberg, Kelly Macks, Amy Padgett, Theresa Spence, and Belinda Smith.
