Tolbert Elementary is proud to announce Ms. Erin Dodd as its next Teacher of the Year.
Ms. Dodd is the Sunshine Room teacher at Tolbert; she has served at TES for three years and is a nineteen-year veteran in the education profession. Mrs. Dodd has served in several Georgia school districts, working with children with many diverse abilities, and she is also a mother to four children.
Regarding her work at Tolbert, her colleagues state:
“Ms. Dodd consistently goes above and beyond to support her students and create a welcoming learning environment. She is deeply committed to student success and takes the time to understand each child’s needs, strengths, and challenges. Ms. Dodd has a loving disposition, and her students adore her. She embodies a wealth of information and is always willing to lend a hand to any staff or student in need. She deals with challenges in an effortless way. Her knowledge base, her compassion, and her teacher heart make her an extraordinary teacher and should be celebrated for the remarkable work that she does every day.”
