Due to the current Winter Storm Watch and the forecast of potential snow, ice, and high winds, all Gordon County Schools will be closed on Friday, January 10th, to prioritize the safety of our students, staff, and community.
Students will bring home any missing assignments, including work for their reading logs, spelling, vocabulary, or other classwork, to complete if they have not already done so at school. We encourage families to use this time to help students stay on track with their learning.
We will continue to monitor weather and road conditions closely and will update families promptly about any further changes to school operations. Thank you for your continued support. Please stay safe and warm!

Dear Gordon County Schools Families,
We are working closely with local agencies to monitor the weather forecast for potential snow that may affect our area Friday. If conditions require adjustments such as delays, early dismissals, or closures, we will promptly notify you through our communication channels.
We will keep you updated as decisions are made. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we prioritize the safety of our school community.
