Planning ahead for next week: September 18th-20th
Parent/teacher conferences are scheduled for September 18th and 19th. On both days, students will be released early at 11:30 am.
If you haven't scheduled a conference with your child's teacher, please reach out and schedule one as soon as possible,
September 20th is an At Home Learning Day. There will not be in-person learning on this day.

Grandparents’ Week at WLS!
We are excited to invite all grandparents to W. L. Swain Elementary for a special week of lunch from September 9th—13th! Enjoy a meal with your grandchild and explore our Book Fair.
The schedule:
September 9th: 2nd Grade—11:30-12:00
September 10th: 1st Grade—11:10-11:40 and 5th Grade—12:00-12:30
September 11th: 3rd Grade—11:55-12:25
September 12th: 4th Grade—12:15-12:45
September 13th: Kindergarten—11:00-11:30 and PreK—12:30-1:00
Adult lunches are $4.00 each (cash or check only). Beverages include tea or milk.
