GORDON COUNTY, GA - Gordon Central High School (GCHS) is thrilled to announce that its Automotive Program has been awarded the Electric Vehicle (EV) Maintenance Lab Grant from the Georgia Department of Education (GaDOE), totaling $143,311.

Endorsed by GaDOE, the Electric Vehicle (EV) Maintenance Lab Grant is designed to fortify high school programs in engineering, energy, and automotive service technology with the latest developments in EV technology. The substantial grant will play a pivotal role in advancing GCHS’ mission of equipping students with cutting-edge knowledge and practical skills in the dynamically evolving realm of electric vehicles.
