Mr. Verdy Jocelyn will be teaching Biology in his first year at Gordon Central. He has a Master of Science in Biology and Secondary Science Education. Mr. Jocelyn and his wife have four sons. Mr. Jocelyn is excited to be at GC and ready to share his love for science with the Tribe!

Mr. Patrick Moore will be joining our ESS department and our GC Football coaching staff in his first year at Gordon Central. He has a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, Sports Studies, and Physical Education from Morehouse College. Mr. Moore is a high energy and extremely motivated teacher dedicated to providing students the necessary tools and opportunities to help them achieve success. He is excited to be a part of a wonderful team here at GC!

Mrs. Scott will be teaching in our Math department and joining the coaching staff for girls soccer in her first year at Gordon Central. She has a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Valdosta State University and is currently pursuing her Master’s in Secondary Education with a focus on STEM subjects. Mrs. Scott and her husband, True, have a fur baby named Bruce. Mrs. Scott is excited to share her love for mathematics and can’t wait to help students continue to achieve during their high school career and beyond.

Upperclassmen schedule information!
Schedules may be obtained by accessing Infinite Campus or the Parent Portal. These should tentatively be available on Tuesday, August 2. To sign up for the Parent Portal, go to gcbe.org and click the parent tab, then on the right side of page, select Infinite Campus Create an Account. Paper copies of schedules will be given out during homeroom on the first day of school.
