Georgia Spirit in Pasadena!

Congratulation to senior Lindsey Lowrance, Gordon Central’s 2022 STAR Student! STAR is an acronym for Student Teacher Achievement Recognition, and the STAR Student is the Senior with the highest SAT Score on a single test date who is in the top 10% of their class. In addition to being recognized for their achievements, STAR Students are asked to select the teacher who they feel made the most significant contribution to their scholastic development to be named their STAR Teacher, and Lindsey selected Ms. Melanie Moore of Ashworth Middle School. Congratulations to both Lindsey and Coach Moore!

Gordon Central High School student, Lindsey Lowrance, was recently awarded a 2021-2022 National Rural and Small-Town Recognition Award from College Board® for her academic achievements and outstanding performance on AP® exams. We would like to congratulate Lindsay on this national academic recognition.

Thank you to our local police departments, school resource officers, & school safety staff who help keep our schools safe!
