Soccer night at Ratner Stadium started off with the girls winning a nail-biter versus Coosa! The game was tied 3-3 at the end of regulation, then it was tied at the end of the two 10 minute overtime periods! The game went to penalty kicks, after which the score was tied again! In the second round of sudden death PKs, both teams made one, then both missed one. Finally, Coosa missed and the Warriors scored, making the game 5-4 in favor of the Warriors!
The boys had an early score by Brayan Rico, and the remainder of the game was a defensive battle! Warrior boys won 1-0!
Congratulations to both teams!

Gordon Central High School is dedicated to educating the whole child, and we are excited about the 7 Mindsets social-emotional learning curriculum we have implemented for the 2021-22 school year. Students meet in advisement groups each Monday and participate in structured activities focusing on things such as positive relationships, gratitude, and making a difference in their community. The focus for February 28 and March 7, 14, & 21 is Live to Give. By clicking on the link below, parents/guardians can access a newsletter filled with information and activities which families can use at home to further support their student.
