The weather outside might be frightful, but breakfast and lunch at Red Bud Middle cafeteria is soooo delightful! Gordon County School Nutrition will be celebrating with some special foods in December: brownies for National Brownie Day and a special holiday-flavored Jolly Sidekick frozen fruit treat on December 8. Then, on December 13, we will feature freshly baked cinnamon rolls as part of our Christmas Brunch for Lunch. Finally, on December 7, we will serve a traditional Christmas lunch with turkey, ham and the sides we all love.

Red Bud Middle School recently invited families to Beans and Books at the Bud, a family literacy event with a “Starbooks” theme. Over 60 students and parents enjoyed a variety of sweet treats, coffee, and hot chocolate with all the fancy toppings. They also participated in “book tastings” where they “sampled” different books and completed short activities about their book. Families were able to choose books to take home as well! Some students even won Starbucks gift cards. Thanks to the parents and guardians who came out to help make our literacy event a success!

RBMS Parents and Guardians: We need your assistance. Please take a moment to fill out the Georgia Parent Survey. The Georgia Parent Survey was developed to measure parent perceptions of school climate at your child’s school. Your opinion is very important to us. Your survey responses are confidential and will be combined with the survey responses of other parents at RBMS to identify areas in need of improvement. It should only take ten or fifteen minutes to complete the survey. Thank you for your time and participation. Georgia Parent Survey https://gshs.gadoe.org/parents
