Gordon County Schools utilizes My Ride K-12, a parent communication app, for transportation operations and parent information. My Ride K-12 is integrated with our transportation software for families to access estimated times of arrival or departure for buses. My Ride K-12 is designed so you can access your student’s bus schedules efficiently. GPS technology on the bus works with the district’s software to automatically calculate the timing of a bus route to give you the most accurate ETAs with real-time updates and route changes. My Ride K-12 is available for you to download on your Apple or Android mobile device. Our flyer provides step-by-step registration instructions, and you can access the app to download in a variety of ways. SHS work-based learning instructor, Dr. Andrea Walraven, is presenting at the annual GACTE Conference this week. Former WBL students being highlighted in the presentation included Rayce Rich with RPR Mobile Auto Detailing and Kylie Hurd with KH Cattle. Both participated in CTSOs in high school and continue to excel at the collegiate level!

Gordon County Schools Congratulates 2024-2025 Retirees! We've asked our retirees to share a picture and their years of experience in GCS to celebrate their retirement. Let's give a big congratulations to Judy Craig, Sonoraville High School graduation coach! Judy has been an educator for 29 years, serving 27 years in Gordon County. Congratulations to the following students from Mrs. Harrison's class for passing their NHA CCMA certification exam. Bottom photos: Christopher Ortiz, Kylee Clark, Meadow Trimble CCMA stands for Certified Clinical Medical Assistant. This is a 4th level healthcare class offered to our seniors and juniors who have completed the previous 3 levels. With this certification it allows these students to work in the Healthcare field straight out of high school in a variety of different medical offices.
