Sonoraville High School has teamed up with Helping Hands Ending Hunger, the Chattanooga Food Bank, and Sonoraville Baptist Church to create a food pantry here at SHS. Today was our first delivery and students from the SHS Interact Club, Beta Club, and Football Team helped to unload and organize the pantry.
We are blessed to be able to assist our families in need. On Fridays, student volunteers will help pack food into bags that will go home with students each week. We also hope to host a drive through food pantry for our community periodically throughout the school year.
