Good afternoon, Tolbert families! This is a message about today's Fall Festival, Good News Club, and After Care. We look forward to the TES Fall Festival today from 4-6 PM. Entry and exit for the festival will be at the main office, and all games will be inside due to the weather. Good News Club and After Care will do pick-up at the bus ramp today. This is the normal After Care pick-up location. Good News Club will not do pick-up at the front entrance due to the festival, but only at the bus ramp today. We look forward to seeing everyone this afternoon. Go Warriors!

Mrs. Jeffords earned her bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania and brings a strong passion for supporting students’ learning while fostering meaningful connections with families and staff.
Outside of school, she enjoys crafting, exploring all that Georgia has to offer, and spending time with her husband and son.

Today, Detective Cody Jones and the Gordon County Sheriff’s Department visited Tolbert Elementary to announce the official name of their new canine. Tolbert Elementary won the naming contest, and the bloodhound will now proudly be called Max.
Max was rescued after being abandoned and will now serve the Gordon County community by helping protect and support law enforcement. Students at Tolbert Elementary were excited to greet Max, named in honor of Max V. Tolbert, and celebrate his new job with the GCSD. Superintendent Alice Mashburn, principal Dr. Rebecca Owen, teachers, and staff joined in welcoming the Sheriff’s Department for this special occasion. #ExtraordinaryGCS #ExtraordinaryTES

Celebrating the Joy of Grandparents at TES 💙
Our second and fifth-grade students enjoyed a special lunch with their grandparents, celebrating family and creating memories to treasure.
