countdown to Christmas - Dress up week. Monday: color war - wear red or green for a color competition. Tuesday: socks and tops, wear Christmas socks and Christmas hats (reindeer antlers, santa hats, etc.) Wednesday: Christmas vacation - wear hawaiian shirts. Thursday: Tacky sweater competition. Friday: Pajama Day December 13-17
TREJO WINS SCHOOL SPELLING BEE 2021 On Tuesday, December 7, 2021, Tolbert Elementary School held the annual school Scripps Spelling Bee. Congratulations to the winner, fourth-grader Kevin Resendiz-Trejo and runner-up, fifth-grader Kara Smith. Moving forward, both students received a list of words from (Words of the Champions) to help prepare for the county-wide Scripps Spelling Bee scheduled for later this school year. Kevin will be the school representative, and Kara will be the alternate representative for the school. Congratulations to both!
