Emergency Communications

Gordon County Schools prioritizes the safety of our students and staff. It is our goal to prevent emergencies from happening, therefore all threats, whether verbal or written (including electronic) are to be taken seriously and investigated.

Should an emergency arise, we also want to be prepared to respond effectively. All schools in our system have a developed, comprehensive safety plan for natural disasters and human caused incidents.

All Gordon County Schools practice emergency drills annually for situations including: evacuations for fire, intruders, tornadoes and other potential emergencies.
