Calhoun, GA – The Gordon County Schools Board of Education is pleased to announce the approval of the millage rate, decided at the September 11th board meeting.   

The board voted unanimously to adopt the full millage rollback rate of 16.364, marking a decrease from the previous year. 

Alice Mashburn, Superintendent of Gordon County Schools, expressed her satisfaction with the board's decision, stating, "This rollback in the millage rate demonstrates our dedication to prudent financial management while continuing to provide the highest level of education to our students. We understand the economic challenges faced by our community, and we are committed to being responsible stewards of taxpayer funds."
