CALHOUN, GA - Red Bud Middle School (RBMS) student, Bryson Sitten, has been chosen to represent RBMS and Gordon County Schools as part the Georgia Music Educator’s Association (GMEA) All-State Band.
Selected students participated in multiple rounds of rigorous auditions between October and January, competing against the best student musicians throughout the state and performing musical selections using prepared material and sight reading.
Bryson is the first student from Red Bud Middle School to be selected for the prestigious ensemble and one of only twenty middle school trombone players selected.
Selected students will participate in a GMEA sponsored All-State Band event March 2-4, 2023, at the Classic Center in Athens, Georgia.
