The Ashworth Middle School Wrestling Warriors defeated North Whitfield last night, 60-30, while giving up 12 of the 30 points in forfeits. The team continued their winning tradition by soundly defeating the Pioneers. Gavin Harkins, Logan Dooley, Alex Medlin, Mason Giddens, Carter Parker, Kerwin Garcia, Maeson Bingiel-Alderete, Nikkoli Anderson, Ian Hernandez, Haiden Hanson, and Jose Lara all won their varsity matches. Anthony Anderon, Michael Grubbs, Silas McNeese, Aidan Patino, Santos Champet, Landon Lowrance, Corban Grubbs, and Greyson Hudson all won their JV matches. The team is back in action this Saturday November 8th at Chattanooga Christian Tournament with wrestling starting at 9:30am.

Our varsity boys closed the night by winning 50-8. Thankfully, Jacobie Bramblett is much more coordinated during a basketball game than a dance, as he was able to bounce back from his injury last Thursday with a big 26 point night, 22 of which were in the first quarter. Raylan Stuart had a solid all-around night as well, adding 6 points.
Both teams, as well as our varsity girls, are back in action this Thursday at home against much tougher Armuchee teams. We'd appreciate a big home court advantage.
