Our boys team edged out Calhoun for 2nd place yesterday at Spring Lakes. Counting scores for the boys were Brantley Baker 44, Caleb Silver 45, Silas Watson 56 and Hayden Gibson 59.
The girl's golf team finished 2nd in the 4-way match . Scoring for the team was led by Makayla Hallman 54 and Avery Wiley 56.

Ashworth girl's golf team finished 3rd in a 5-way match yesterday. Makayla Hallman led the team by having the 2nd lowest score in the match of 55. Also scoring for Ashworth was Tessa Morgan with a 57.
Ashworth boys golf team finished ahead of Cass in the match. Scoring for Ashworth boys' team: Brantley Baker 44, Caleb Silvers 48, Caleb Watson 56 and Julius King 61.

New band director Ms. Stokesbary had the Dr. Beat metronome going as students worked on whole notes in the song they were learning. From keeping steady time to learning how each note fits into the music, students are developing skills that will help them grow as musicians.
We are excited to see all that Ms. Stokesbary and the AMS band students accomplish this year!
