Yesterday, the Ashworth Middle School’s Girls Soccer Team won 2-0 at Chattooga. The Warriors played outstanding. The defense only allowed one shot on goal which was stopped by goalie Maylynn Ramirez. Scoring for the Warriors were Gabby Mountjoy and Keyla Bravo Robleto. Great win!

The Warriors fell 5-4 to Eastbrook on Tuesday despite out-hitting them eight to four. Michael Grubbs opened the scoring in the first after hitting a solo home run. Graycin Thomas opened the game pitching and surrendered zero hits and four runs over two-thirds of an inning, striking out two and walking seven. Michael Grubbs pitched three and one-third innings in relief. Grubbs gave up four hits and one run while, striking out eight and walking none. Gavin Brock, Ryan Walker, and Michael Grubbs each drove in one run. Daygan Brown, Michael Grubbs, and Ty Muse each stole multiple bases. The defense didn't commit a single error. Our next game is at Valley Point Middle on Thursday!
