Our girls golf team was edged out of 1st place by 3 strokes yesterday. Leading the team was Avery Wiley with a 55. Also scoring for the team was Makayla Hallman with a 59.
The boys were led by Caleb Silvers with a 48. Also scoring for the team was Brantley Baker with a 49, Julius King 59 and Silas Watson with. a 62.

Coach Wood is helping Ashworth Middle School students build a deeper understanding of the world around them! In his 7th grade social studies classroom, students are creating anchor charts to better understand maps. Coach also created a fun drawing to show students how citizen power shapes different forms of government.

At Cartersville Country Club the boys Finished 2nd in a tri-match, the boys were led by Brantley Baker who carded a 41 to lead the team. Also scoring for the team: Caleb Silvers 53, Silas Watson 58 and Hayden Gibson 62.
The girls were in the hunt for 1st but were edged out by Cartersville. Makayla Hallman led the team with a 55. Avery Wiley carded a 56 followed by Tessa Morgan 58.
